SUMMARY

Temple, TX - The Assessment and Evaluation Associate will oversee and coordinate the confidential evaluation process for courses, faculty, and students; and manage the web-based evaluation programs for Undergraduate Medical Education (UME) courses.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Two years of relevant experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s Degree.
  • Experience with evaluation and assessment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides administrative support for evaluation and assessment processes for foundational, clinical, and elective programs for undergraduate medical education students.
  • Analyzes and reports on quantitative data for course review.
  • Assists with management of web-based evaluation programs for Undergraduate Medical Education (UME) foundational, clinical, and elective programs, including evaluation development and implementation, program maintenance, training, and reporting.
  • Assists with the administration and score reporting process of National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME) subject exams for medical students.
  • Calculates and submits confidential student grades.
  • Oversees confidential foundational science course grades for medical students by analyzing and interpreting exam item analyses, calculating final scores, reviewing scores for accuracy, and reporting scores to the Registrar, Deans, and students.
  • Compiles reports to support the accreditation process and assist in the implementation of National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME) exams.
  • Communicates with faculty and students regularly regarding the examination and evaluation processes, policies, and requirements.
  • Assists with the review of existing administrative processes in support of medical education evaluation and assessment.
