Randstad is currently recruiting Assessment Officers for a reputable CBD based Government Department. 12 month State Government contracts available including annual and sick leave entitlements. This department is currently expanding and would like your assistance! If you have experience with decision making, formal assessment, research and report writing we would like to hear from you. Candidates with a paralegal, insurance, education, Health, Execuitive Support or medical administration background would be highly regarded.
Key information (please apply if you meet all the below criteria)
- MUST have or be able to obtain a Working With Children’s Check
- MUST have a National Police Clearance within 12 months
- Working hours are Monday - Friday 0900 - 1700 OR 0800 - 1600
- Flexible working arrangements once trained can be negotiated after a 3 month period
Your Skills and Experience
To be considered for this role you would have skills & experience in the following to be a successful Assessor:
- Making assessments based on reasoning, suitability and providing evidence of outcome
- Arranging screening assessments
- Submission of briefings inline with relevant legislation and regulations
- Escalating projects to a higher level where appropriate
- Checking the accuracy of information and data
- Prioritizing and organizing workload and assessments with minimal supervision
- Ability to work in a high volume environment accurately and efficiently
- Ability to work autonomously and also within a team
- Professional and formal summary and report writing skills
