ASSET COORDINATOR
Location:Auckland, NZ, 2022
Onsite or Hybrid:
Babcock is looking for an Asset Coordinator to join the Fleet Management Team for Air New Zealand based at Auckland Airport.
KEY REQUIRED SKILLS
- Previous asset/fleet management experience in commercial or defense maintenance and repair.
- Background in equipment management and/or experience with Airport/GSE equipment.
- Previous engineering and specialist technical experience, including oversight of large programs and geographically dispersed workforces.
- Proficient in Excel and data analysis
- Strong project management skills: Demonstrated ability to effectively plan, organize, and execute tasks within specified timelines, ensuring successful completion of asset management projects and programs.

ABOUT THE ROLE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure adherence to Babcock HSE guidelines and support Air NZ HSE requirements.
- Manage the asset management system (IFS) and ensure data integrity within the system.
- Act as an IFS super user, handling and reporting on IFS issues within the Call Centre function.
- Oversee centralized asset management activities directed by the Fleet Team Lead.
- Continuously develop, document, and monitor IFS processes and procedures for various tasks, including new asset introductions, transfers, disposals, airside GSE registrations, major inspection programs, warranty management, and other tasks identified by the Fleet Team Lead.
