We have a fantastic and challenging opportunity for a technically focused individual with exceptional people skills to join our solutions-driven team as an Asset Engineer.
As the Asset Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and implementing engineering processes and deliverables associated with infrastructure asset management, ensuring strict adherence to the established company standards (The Downer Standard) and contractual requirements. Your responsibilities will be bolstered by the support of a seasoned team operating across diverse contracts.
In this role, you will actively engage in utilising and contributing to the advancement of cutting-edge technology in asset management, data analysis, deterioration forecasting, and maintenance planning support. Your involvement will extend to the formulation of forward works plans for asset renewals. Additionally, you will be expected to collaborate in assisting our clients with their Long-Term Plans and funding requests to Waka Kotahi.
NGA PŪKENGA MATUA | IMPORTANT SKILLS
We are welcoming applications from people with the following skills and attributes;
- Desirable to hold tertiary Engineering qualification or similar,
- Minimise maintenance costs and address network needs
- Technically savvy with the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, RAMM, and Juno Viewer applications.
- Knowledge of predictive modelling approaches to support forecasting accuracy.
- Budgetary control, claim assessment and contract management in line with NZS3910, NZTA SAP and CPV requirements.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to empower and motivate those around you, including presentation experience.
