Description:

  • Diversify your skills and experience within Local Government

  • Initial 3 month contract with possibility for extension

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Asset Management or relevant qualifications
  • 2 years experience in a similar role is highly desirable
  • Highly proficient in Conquest and MapInfo
  • High level of attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Update Council’s Asset Management System with inventory information by creating and updating assets in MapInfo
  • Assist in preparing technical specifications for assets investigation, maintenance and rehabilitation works
  • Responsible for collecting asset inventory and condition data including identifying and recording all attributes of assets for roads, bridges, footpaths, buildings etc
  • Assist with new asset data capture and mapping including on-site inspections as required
