An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Asset Inspector to join Service Stream team based out in Regency Park
About the Role
Service Stream’s Energy and Water division are currently seeking an experienced Asset Inspector to join our SAPN team. Reporting directly to the Service Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for the inspection and assessment of various equipment conditions while adhering to the relevant statutory legislations and company policies. Based in Regency Park (SA), and offered on a Permanent, Full-Time basis, this position is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate.

Reporting Line: Service Delivery Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect and assess the structural integrity of electrical assets.
  • Enter data into in-field mobility solution ensuring accuracy and the timely raising of defect notifications.
  • Provide good service authority by dealing with the public in a courteous manner.
  • Assist the client by reporting and recording information on assets that require attention.
  • Ensure handheld PDA is maintained and kept in working order.
  • Perform duties in accordance with company policies and procedures ensuring safety.
  • Comply with all legal requirements in relation to OH&S
  • Attend team/divisional activities and meetings.

Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will demonstrate high attention to detail, excellent communication skills, the ability to work autonomously and possess the following:

  • Full Driver’s licence (4WD course qualification is desired)
  • Current First Aid/CPR & Police clearance
  • Minimum 6 months’ experience in powerline inspection procedures is desired.
  • Work Zone Traffic Management tickets are highly regarded.
