Responsibilities:

The Asset Lifecycle Manager roles are fundamental to supporting Manchester Airport’s growth ambitions through ensuring that the current asset base is maintained to ensure maximum operational availability. A key responsibility for the role/s is to assess overall asset operability and condition and develop the asset renewals plan over the short/medium and long term. The Asset Lifecycle Manager will prioritise and standardise asset renewals to help drive long term business efficiency and provide assurance in respect of longer-term investment planning through asset deterioration modelling and whole life costing techniques. In addition the Asset Lifecycle Manager will define asset criticality and help develop performance and condition models that will underpin future investment decisions.
Candidates should have demonstrable experience from within an Engineering Operations/Asset Management environment and be capable of analysing complex data to drive supporting business cases for capital investment and also have commercial experience.
