Description:

As our Asset Management & Performance Engineer you will need to rely on your ability to foster key relationships as you play a pivotal role across most if not all our asset groups at Orion. There will be key relationships across the business that you need to influence and communicate with on how we perform under changes that we experience across our network and asset management system.
You’ll play a vital part in how we report, develop, and implement processes to ensure our asset models are managed and maintained, so your ability to communicate our strategic plans will be critical. This is a challenging role, so you’ll need to be curious and love to explore new possibilities.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

  • Analyse the condition, risk, cost, and performance of our network assets ensuring whole-of-life strategies are improved and implemented
  • Refine and implement methods representing asset risks ensuring we justify our investment decisions
  • Help us improve, validate and add value to our existing asset management system.
  • Analyse data to provide assurance for our asset programmes.
  • Collaborate across the wider business advising on our forecasted future spend and communicate clear oversight of our physical assets on the network
  • Contribute to the development of our asset management documents, plans and systems
