Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Asset Manager to join us and oversee our Principal diverse portfolio of assets.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, real estate, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in asset management, specifically in a high-net-worth or corporate environment (GCB and above only).
  • Strong knowledge of asset management principles, practices, and tools, including risk management, financial analysis and budgeting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Detail-oriented mindset, with a focus on accuracy, quality and compliance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive and proactive attitude.
  • Willingness to travel and work outside of normal business hours as needed.
  • Candidates with overseas property management experience will be an advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive asset management strategies, ensuring alignment with Principal’s goal and objectives and safeguard assets.
  • Oversee property management both domestically and overseas.
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of consumable assets.
  • Conduct regular inspections, evaluations and make recommendations for asset acquisitions, disposals, reallocations to optimize portfolio performance.
  • Perform financial analysis and modelling to assess individual asset performance and overall portfolio profitability.
  • Stay updated on market trends and industry developments to inform investment decisions and asset valuation.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks, implementing strategies to safeguard from various threats.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including property managers, maintenance staff, and third-party vendors, to ensure effective asset management.
  • Maintain accurate records of all asset-related activities, including maintenance schedules, repair logs, inventory, financial data, etc.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations, providing insights into asset performance and recommended actions.
