Join our team as the Asset Protection Risk Analyst at The Star Brisbane.
The Star Brisbane, positioned at the heart of the new Queen’s Wharf Brisbane precinct, will be Australia’s newest entertainment and leisure destination. Commencing a staged opening in 2024, The Star Brisbane will bring a range of unique entertainment options, world class hotels, dining, bars, luxury retail, gaming and a state-of-the-art Event Centre, transforming how people will play, shop and socialise in the river city.
The Asset Protection Risk Analyst reports into the Asset Protection Risk and Compliance Coordinator and provides administrative assistance and analytical support to the team to ensure compliance, as well as oversee all Asset Protection activities across property.

ABOUT US

The $3.6 billion Queen’s Wharf Brisbane development is being delivered by Destination Brisbane Consortium – a joint venture led by The Star Entertainment Group alongside its partners.
When complete, Queen’s Wharf Brisbane will deliver four new luxury hotels, more than 50 new food and beverage experiences, significant luxury retail, the restoration of nine heritage buildings and around 1,500 residential apartments.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimise statistical efficiency and data quality.
  • Liaise with key personnel to ensure Security operations are conducted in accordance with the highest standards of gaming integrity.
  • Facilitate the drafting of regulatory submissions and other correspondence with regulators.
  • Coordinate and document the scheduled and ad hoc reviews of the security trends and processes system by authorised reviewers.

What we will be looking for

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration or similar.
  • Sound understanding of incident reporting and security (access control, electronic key management) systems.
  • Experience in a Surveillance environment preferably within the Casino industry is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of relevant legislation and regulations.
