Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for risk prevention and control, as well as the planning and execution of all related activities.
  • Develop area procedures and encourage integration with corporate guidelines. Promote and strengthen internal culture to contribute to best practices and encourage the participation of all personnel.
  • Participate in the budget planning for the area and prepare follow-up reports to analyze possible budgetary deviations.
  • Analyze and develop controls for the entry of materials, tools, spare parts, technology items, documentation, etc.
  • Administer company access card allocation policies.
  • Develop entry and exit policies for vehicles corresponding to personnel with assigned parking, contractors, suppliers, and visitors.
  • Prepare reports on the area’s activities for management.
  • Establish intelligence tasks, inspections, and investigations.
  • Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure preventive and/or corrective solutions, as well as statistical recording of events and incidents.
  • Monitor area projects.
  • Manage technology systems applied to security (CCTV, access control, and others).
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and new area needs. Supervise compliance with security procedures (guards, internal and external clients).
  • Identify threats and vulnerabilities to feed Risk Matrices and carry out proper risk management.
  • Maintain relationships with jurisdictional authorities and security forces.
  • Ensure control of contractors.

Key Relationships and Department Overview:

  • University degree or higher education in Security Management or Industrial Engineering, or retired Officer from the Armed Forces and Security Forces.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Microsoft Office skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to interact with different levels of the organization.
  • Independent and flexible team worker with strong analytical and influential skills and conceptual thinking.
  • Ability to think “outside the box” and identify improvement opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of internal controls.
