SUMMARY OF POSITION

Cadre’s Transit division offers our clients technical rail service solutions including commissioning and testing of new transit vehicles, warranty repairs, preventative maintenance, and inspection services. Our contractors work with the leading Ontario transit suppliers and agencies, ensuring their equipment is available to provide reliable on time service to their passengers in some of North America’s largest transit systems.
Reporting to the Asset Manager & Lead, the Assets Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that all 50,000+ major assets within the Eglinton Crosstown LRT project have been identified both physically and electronically. Working within the LRT tunnels and track network, the Asset Coordinators will scan QR codes at the location of each asset and review the electronic documentation attached to each piece of equipment is correct.

• Support the following teams and areas to ensure all assets are labelled: Testing and Commissioning, Facilities, Interim Operations, Alignment (Stations and Stops), Systems, Communications, Expediting, Safety, Close-out, Signage, and the Maintenance and Rehabilitation division (CTSM).
• Scan QR codes within the tunnel and track network utilizing an iPhone and iPad and ensure the electronic documentation matches the asset it is paired with.
• Review schematics and drawings to determine correct location of asset within the LRT system.
• Place QR codes alongside assets as needed
