  Mercedes Benz Ringwood & Silver Star Motors is seeking a professional and efficient Assistant Accountant to assist with the day-to-day accounting requirements for dealerships in Doncaster and Ringwood.
  Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will establish yourself in a fast-paced, supportive team and have the opportunity to improve your skills and continue to grow professionally.

WHILE PREVIOUS AUTOMOTIVE EXPERIENCE IS PREFERRED, TRAINING AND SUPPORT FOR THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL BE PROVIDED.

• Ensure accurate and timely entry of data to produce Trial Balance.
• Processing daily bank
• Cash flow forecast.
• Bailment/floorplan and reconciliation in relation to financier
• Accounts payable processing.
• Prepare Cash & Cheque deposits for the dealership
• Debtor ledger reconciliation is actively looking for outstanding.
• Processing agency and used car deals.
• General reconciliations and journal upload.
• Perform ad hoc duties as requested by the management.
