POSITION OVERVIEW

As an Assistant Accountant with our client, you’ll be instrumental in supporting the broader finance team. Working closely alongside the Financial Accountant, you will support the team’s transactional capabilities, month-end duties and ad-hoc finance tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • A passion for accounting and a strong understanding of financial principles.
  • Part CA/CPA Qualification.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team spirit.
  • Adaptability and a proactive approach in a dynamic work environment.
  • Prior experience within the Financial Services industry is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in day-to-day accounting and financial activities.
  • Reconcile accounts and maintain precise financial records.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to analyse and interpret financial data.
  • Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Provide support to Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
  • Engage in diverse ad-hoc finance and administrative tasks as required.
