Our client, a prominent player in the Australian finance broking sector located in Brisbane CBD, is currently seeking an Assistant Accountant to complement their expanding finance team on an ongoing contractual basis.

Under the guidance of the Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in various financial activities, including but not limited to:

• Collaborating on the completion of month-end and year-end accounts, involving reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting.
• Aiding in the preparation and submission of BAS and fulfilling other statutory reporting obligations.
• Extending assistance to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll functions.
• Oversight and upkeep of the fixed asset register.
• Addressing miscellaneous tasks as necessary to support operational efficiency.
