Responsibilities:
- Preparation of accounting journals and assistance with monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Assistance with the monthly payroll process and year-end closing processes
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies
- Processing incoming invoices, maintaining up-to-date vendor records and reconciling vendor statements
- Assisting with the preparation of payment batches and executing payment runs
- Maintaining an organised filing system for all financial documents
