Job Description
The Department of Nutrition and Health, College of Medicine and Health Sciences at the United Arab Emirates University invites applicants for a full-time faculty position in Human Nutrition and/or Food Science at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank. The candidate must have demonstrated skills in developing and teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in human nutrition and food science-related courses, including food service management, to dietetics and nutritional science students. The successful candidate must have demonstrable capability to develop and sustain internally and/or externally funded research projects in his/her area of expertise, publish his/her research findings in high-impact journals, and actively engage in promoting the growth of the UAE University.
Minimum Qualification
Ph.D. in Human Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Science, or a closely related disciplines from an accredited university. At least 2 years of experience in teaching undergraduate-level courses is a must.
Preferred Qualification
Ph.D. in Human Nutrition or Food Science from an accredited university. A teaching experience of at least 2 years in nutrition and food science-related courses, food service management, and a track record of intra/extramural grants and impactful research publications as evidenced by a good h-index profile.
Expected Skills
At least 2 years at the Assistant Professor rank as well as evidence of scholarly achievements
