Palm Beach Atlantic University’s Rinker School of Business seeks an Assistant/Associate Professor of Information Systems or Data Analytics. The position is a full-time position, with a teaching load of three (3) courses per semester for scholarly academic positions or four (4) courses per semester for Instructional Practitioners and Practicing Academics. This position has a starting date of July 1 2024. All applications must be submitted through Human Resources career portal.

Qualifications:

• Required to hold a Master’s Degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Data Science, or a related field, or higher.
• A PhD in these fields or D.B.A with a concentration in these fields is preferred.
• Note ABDs from an AACSB accredited institution may also be considered.
• Preferred candidates should have:
• Earned 18 graduate credit hours in accounting or a closely related business discipline.
• Authored multiple recent publications in peer-reviewed accounting or business-related journals if they intend to quality as a scholarly academic faculty member.
• Interest and ability to teach in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) a plus.
• The ability and interest in teaching evening, day, online, on-campus, and hybrid modalities within our undergraduate, Master of Business Data Analytics, and Master of Business Administration programs.
• Evidence of a planned scholarly agenda consistent with expectations of a teaching, informed by scholarship-focused program.
• A Christian commitment and the ability to integrate Christian faith into traditional coursework.
