- PhD, MD or PhD and MD in biomedical sciences or a related discipline
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated history of successful external research funding or evidence of potential for
obtaining external research funding;
- Evidence of a publication record in relevant peer-reviewed journals
The Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at the University of Minnesota is seeking excellent and diverse applicants for a tenure-track non-clinical, 100% bench research faculty position with an appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate professor based on experience and qualifications. Potential areas of research interests include, but are not limited to, liver cancer, NAFLD/NASH, the microbiome, IBD, immunotherapy, spatial and single cell transcriptomics, and innovative biomaterials for gene and drug delivery. Applicants must have a PhD, MD or PhD and MD in biomedical sciences or a related discipline. The successful candidate is expected to develop a robust externally funded research program, initiate interdisciplinary and collaborative research, and maintain a strong publication record.
