Job Title: Assistant Branch Manager
Location: Coolgreany Branch, Gorey, Co Wexford (onsite)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, with occasional half days on Saturdays.
Salary: Based on experience and qualifications.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As the Assistant Branch Manager at the Coolgreany Branch, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of the branch. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and has a passion for the agricultural sector. You will be responsible for managing various aspects of branch operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and promoting a safe and productive work environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

IT Proficiency: Must be proficient in using various IT systems and CRM software.
Industry Experience: Have similar experience within the agricultural industry.
Attitude: Possess a ‘can do’ attitude with a willingness to take on responsibilities and act upon issues promptly.
Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
Reliability: Be dependable and trustworthy, demonstrating a strong work ethic.
Quality Focus: Maintain a high standard of work, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Problem-Solving: Be an effective trouble-shooter, able to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
Health and Safety Awareness: Be conscious of and comply with health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

Branch Management: Take ownership of the branch operations and drive sales growth.
Stock and Merchandise Management: Effectively manage inventory and merchandise to meet customer demand and optimise sales.
Credit Control: Oversee and manage credit control processes to ensure timely payments.
Customer Service: Serve and assist customers on a daily basis, providing excellent service and building strong relationships.
Product Knowledge: Develop a high level of product knowledge to offer customers the best possible advice and solutions.
Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with colleagues in all departments to support branch operations and customer service.
