Description:

We’re looking for an Assistant Branch Manager to join our team at Cambridge. As an Assistant Branch Manager, you will work closely with the Branch Manager to ensure we provide the highest levels of customer service to our existing customers, attract new customers and manage the branch and team in the Branch Manager’s absence.

As an Assistant Branch Manager, you’ll be expected to:

  • Support the Branch Manager with the day-to-day management of the branch and team
  • Display excellence levels of customer service when dealing with customers in-person and over the phone
  • Support the Branch Manager to attract and maintain new customers
  • Undertake daily branch administrative duties, including banking
  • Update and maintain POS displays, the branch’s appearance and availability of merchandise
  • Undertake stock checks and employ control measures
  • Receive, check and store incoming goods
  • Ensure safe operation and use of the warehouse
  • Build relationships with suppliers and reps

  • Possess excellent communication skills
  • Be focussed on upholding excellent levels of customer service
  • Be keen to develop your leadership and management skills
  • Have good attention to detail and maintain high levels of accuracy in your work
  • Work well under pressure and have a flexible approach to duties and responsibilities
  • Have an ambitious outlook with a willingness to learn
  • Understand the importance of Health & Safety and working within appropriate guidelines
