Description:

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2-3 years of relevant working experience in IT industry, preferably doing system administrations and management.
  • Fresh graduates with Diploma / Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information Technology and its related professionals are welcome to apply.
  • Familiar with managing applications and systems in Windows Server OS (2003, 2008, 2012, 2016) and Linux operating systems (RHEL preferred).
  • Exposure to Database system – Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL and Oracle.
  • Resourceful and confident.
  • Ability to harness team support.
  • Good communicator, written and verbal.
  • Good analytical and interpersonal skills with positive working attitude.
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
  • Ability to work with regional counterparts in the Asia Pacific region.
  • Motivated and able to manage stress in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities:

JOB PURPOSE:

Contribute to the success of Teckwah Industrial Corporation Limited business by ensuring that the latest relevant software system is deployed, maintained and continuously improved.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deploy and manage the software applications, solutions and their enhancements to new customers and user bases. These applications and solutions include in-house developed applications, middleware and databases systems.
  • Support, determine and resolve application problems (1st level software system helpdesk support), reported by users via helpdesk system.
  • Monitor application scheduled jobs and provide support for exception and recovery.
  • Support the operation and maintenance of software applications and middleware, including responding to service outages and other system issues.
  • Administer and upkeep required documentations to ensure proper accountability of all system changes in-line with compliance of policies.
  • Perform any other relevant tasks as assigned.
