Responsibilities:
WHAT IS THE ROLE:
To support the Buyer to source, develop, buy and deliver a specific range of products at the right time.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Manages key administrative duties for the Buying team from product concept to finished bought product.
- Clearly and effectively communicates with all suppliers and internal departments in line with critical path
- Manages order raising process as and when required with buyer’s approval.
- Manages sample process and organisation for the department in a timely fashion.
- Manages sample sealing process working closely with garment tech team to meet critical path requirements.
- Manages garment approval process to achieve a commercial, saleable product.
- Thoughtfully contributes towards the input of all meeting preparation including Monday Trade & Product Sign Offs
- Fulfil general ad hoc duties as required.
- Deputising for buyer in buyer’s absence
- Management of the critical path demonstrating proactive problem solving that meets deadlines.
- Actively contributing to the product life cycle e.g., comp shops, pre-trip planning, range building, product briefings and lessons learnt etc.
- Self-motivated clear understanding of market trends and customer profile and able to contribute knowledgeably to all meetings.
- Regular store visits undertaken, findings presented back to relevant parties and actions follow through.
