We are looking for an experienced ACM to join our team in Medicinal & Personal Wash, managing key elements of the portfolio.
This role is responsible for managing the Promotional and Trade Plan, whilst delivering to target on sales growth profitability and market share. You will partake in close management of suppliers from small to large, in a fast paced environment with stretch elements including buying jobs for events and supporting to manage range reviews in certain sub-categories
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Category Manager in Promotional Management and strong negotiation skills to deal with high profile FMCG suppliers.
- Previous buying experience
- Demonstrated the ability to negotiate and influence with cross functional and external stakeholders
- Proven ability of delivering against KPIs within previous roles
The ability to use customer insights and data to make strategic and commercial business decisionsStrong commercial acumen

Responsibilities:
- Optimise the promotional program through the frequency, depth, funding and phasing of promotions whilst ensuring we are providing market leading value for our customers
- Utilise data and insights to ensure our promotional offers are customer led and deliver a ROI
- Leverage sales driving tactics for key customer offers (brochure, sales planning, event space etc)
- Negotiate with Suppliers on promotional investment and executions (aligning to KPI’s)
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders e.g. Category Manager & Assistant, Marketing, Online, Replenishment, Promotions etc. to implement promotional activity effectively
- Support range reviews negotiating outcomesManage Buy for seasonal events
