QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma holder or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Ability to listen and express clearly and concisely
  • Facilitation skills and knowledge would be an advantage
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and digital tools (WhatsApp, Youtube, Zoom etc)

Responsibilities:

As a Centre Supervisor, you will assist the Centre Manager in ensuring smooth operations of the Senior Day Care Centre (SCC).
You will be part of an integrated care team that delivers a person-centred care model for our seniors, including persons with dementia. Ideally, this person should also be promoting seniors’ independence and maintaining their cognitive and physical functions. This person will facilitate small-group activities in SCC to enable seniors to live with dignity and fulfilment.

A.Manage daily centre operations

  • Assist the Centre Manager in ensuring the smooth management of centre operations e.g. scheduling, documentation, cleanliness of workplace & client safety
  • Supervise and guide the care staff to deliver care duties
  • Meet guests and visitors in a friendly and welcoming manner and manage timely follow-up to their queries
  • Increase productivity through the continual streamlining of processes and workflows
  • Ensure compliance with International Organization for Standardization (ISO), regulatory and internal audits
  • Maintain a credible professional image and positive branding of NTUC Health through positive and professional relationships with clients, caregivers and other stakeholders
  • Attend continuing internal and external training to upskill knowledge and skills

B. Oversee the centre programme for our seniors. This includes the following:

  • Organise and execute activities that cater to needs and interests of seniors
  • Train and guide care staff to lead and facilitate small group activities
  • Promote active engagement and tailor participation of activities to seniors’ choices and abilities
  • Support the Centre Manager in tracking clients’ outcomes and satisfaction

C. Proactively engage the caregivers of our seniors

  • Provide regular updates of seniors’ medical and health conditions
  • Communicate the beneficial outcomes of the centre activities and eventsCommunicate with the caregivers the progress report of our seniors
