Description:
We seek to appoint an Assistant Chaplain to join our team to provide and/or facilitate spiritual, religious and pastoral care to meet the needs of patients, staff and visitors, of all faiths and none, at Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board in accordance with the Spiritual Care Standards in the NHS Wales, Welsh Government 2010 and the Healthcare Standard 2015 through provision of end of life spiritual, pastoral and religious care.
The role is for a suitably qualified person to work collaboratively with the Lead Chaplain, all members of the spiritual care team and, other departments within the health board contributing to the effective running of the Chaplaincy Department.
Chaplains provide a 27/7 service in times of crisis and end of life; therefore, the successful candidate would join our 7 day a week out of hours on call rota, responding to requests for care appropriate to patient need across the Cwm Taf Morgannwg sites.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

To contribute to the effective running of the Chaplaincy Department. To assist and work alongside other members of the chaplaincy team and volunteers within the health board.
Participating in a 24 hour, 7 day a week out of hours on call rota, responding to requests of end of life care appropriate to patient need across the Cwm Taf Morgannwg sites.
