How you make a difference:
The Assistant Clinical Coordinator is responsible for collaborating with physicians and care providers to coordinate daily patient care activities, ensuring that patient goals are met successfully. The position involves working with patients, physicians, and support staff. The Assistant Clinical Coordinator performs various clerical duties, such as updating and organizing information on nursing units, coordinating work with other units and departments, and responding to inquiries and requests from staff and personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and coordinate clinic schedules, patient appointments, and maintain necessary lists and schedules.
  • Perform clerical duties related to maintaining and updating medical records, chart accuracy and current data, and responding to inquiries.
  • Ensure availability of office and medical supplies, and process information related to patient care.
  • Communicate effectively by answering the telephone, directing calls to appropriate individuals, and taking messages.
  • Collaborate with other personnel within the medical unit and other departments to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
