To cope with the operation expansion in Singapore, we are seeking a high calibre professional to join our Singapore Fund Accounting Team.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in AML/KYC/regulatory compliance
  • Ability to perform / enhance the work flow of KYC review, including AML / sanction risk assessment, CDD documentation check, name screening, FATCA/CRS etc.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin
  • Attention to detail and good time management
  • Excellent in communications and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently, meticulous, dedicated and self-motivated with good manners

Responsibilities:

  • Handle the enquiry from the customer regarding regulatory and AML/CFT compliance.
  • Liaise with MAS on compliance matters (e.g. license application for the clients)
  • Ensure prompt and accurate compliance relevant regulatory reporting submissions to MAS
  • Provide advice in the development and implementation of policy, governance and regulatory standards and frameworks.
  • Responsible for general oversight of compliance and Anti-Money Laundering / Counter Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT).
  • Supervise teams in the review of suspicious transactions, EDD and CDD procedure to ensure all alert areas are functioning effectively, and take corrective measures as required.
  • Ensure high-risk areas (products, services, customers, and geographic locations) are identified for mitigation and controls; periodic updates provided on the institution’s risk profile; and an adequate AML compliance program is tailored to manage risks within acceptable risk parameters.
  • Organize compliance training sessions for employees to enhance awareness and understanding of compliance requirements.
  • Ensure staff actively monitor regulatory developments, trends in the market, sanctions regulations etc and develop or update policies and procedures to ensure adherence and compliance with the laws and regulations
