We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Conference and Banqueting Manager at Woodlands Park Hotel, part of Hand Picked Hotels.
Woodlands Park Hotel is a stunning country house hotel set in landscaped grounds and gardens, making it one of Surrey’s most spectacular countryside wedding venues. It is an AA awarded 4 Star Hotel with 57 bedrooms, a 2 AA Rosette fine dining restaurant, conference and event function rooms and a bar.
Responsibilities:
- As the Assistant Conference & Banqueting Manager you will be responsible for helping manage the team, overseeing all events from set up to clear downs.
- Ensuring each guest has a magical experience will put a smile on your face and motivate you on a daily basis.
- You will work closely with the Conference & Banqueting Manager to achieve these goals.
- This is an operational, hands-on role so you will have incredible organisational skills and attention to detail, along with stamina and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- You are the ultimate ‘people person’, able to charm wedding couples, organise suppliers, and inspire our permanent and casual team members to be their best.
- Building effective relationships with clients will be a key requirement to ensure the success of the department and team.
