QUALIFICATIONS

  • General Degree in any discipline.
  • Experience in Broadcast / Media regulations and compliance will be beneficial.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet broadcast deadlines.

DESIGNATION : Assistant Content Standards Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure Content Code compliance in all our locally produced and acquired Chinese programme broadcasts on FTA-TV Channels, mewatch and online/socials.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Vetting of Chinese content (from local and foreign studios) for Code compliance across different platforms.
  • Assessment of pre-production scripts and highlighting of potential concerns in local content.
  • Ability to make editorial amendments to mitigate content issues and sensitivities.
  • Recommend appropriate consumer advisory ratings and scheduling suitability of programmes.
  • Research on specific themes/subjects that may have sensitivities for local broadcast.
  • Craft engaging synopses for acquired programmes for media / press release.
  • Work closely with Programming / Marketing / Scheduling / Subtitling & Sales teams in achieving our Corporate goals.
