How you can make your mark
As an Assistant Controller, you are responsible for maintaining and analyzing financial data within our organization. You play a key role in supporting both the finance manager and the business unit controller with accounting tasks and with preparing the monthly reports and business reports for management. You also make ad hoc analyses and communicate with our sales offices around the world.
Your responsibilities as Assistant Controller at Boskalis Heavy Marine Transport are:
- Performing accounting tasks.
- Guiding the Financial Shared Service Center and checking the transactions booked there.
- Preparing and analyzing financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
- Monitoring financial performance, identifying deviations, and making recommendations for improvement.
- Supporting the annual audit processes.
- Assisting in the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and cost calculations.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations in the field of accounting and taxes.
- Collaborating with other departments to collect and analyze financial data for management reports.
- Actively contributing to the development and implementation of internal control procedures and process improvements.
You can make your mark as Assistant Controller at Boskalis Heavy Marine Transport if you have:
- A self-starting and proactive personality.
- A bachelor or master degree in a finance-related field.
- Preferably at least two years of proven financial work experience.
- Good knowledge of ERP software and MS Office applications.
- Besides Dutch, you have an excellent command of the English language.
