QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Doctoral degree in education or related field
  • Be eligible for tenure at the Associate Professor or Professor levels in one of the College’s academic units
  • Experience applying for and receiving grant/contract funding

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the liaison for the College with the Research, Economic Development, and Innovation division.
  • Serve as Ex-officio for the COE Research & Scholarship Committee.
  • Lead collaboration efforts within the College, across the University, and globally in developing potentially funded research projects.
  • Promote best practices in research studies.
  • Disseminate information within the College about human subjects’ research.
  • Connect potential funders with faculty.
  • Develop and monitor infrastructures for faculty that include pre-award and post-award activities.
  • Develop and lead processes for grant development, from brainstorming to applying for and managing funded grants/contracts.
  • Oversee the internal awards process (seed grants, i.e.).
  • Facilitate professional development for faculty and staff in the area of research activities.
  • Supervise the Grants Specialist.
  • Other duties as assigned.
