QUALIFICATIONS:
- Doctoral degree in education or related field
- Be eligible for tenure at the Associate Professor or Professor levels in one of the College’s academic units
- Experience applying for and receiving grant/contract funding
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the liaison for the College with the Research, Economic Development, and Innovation division.
- Serve as Ex-officio for the COE Research & Scholarship Committee.
- Lead collaboration efforts within the College, across the University, and globally in developing potentially funded research projects.
- Promote best practices in research studies.
- Disseminate information within the College about human subjects’ research.
- Connect potential funders with faculty.
- Develop and monitor infrastructures for faculty that include pre-award and post-award activities.
- Develop and lead processes for grant development, from brainstorming to applying for and managing funded grants/contracts.
- Oversee the internal awards process (seed grants, i.e.).
- Facilitate professional development for faculty and staff in the area of research activities.
- Supervise the Grants Specialist.
- Other duties as assigned.
