[What the role is]
NAC’s Access & Community Engagement Department creates opportunities for everyone living in Singapore to have meaningful encounters with the arts as an integral part of their lives, contributing to building a connected society and a distinctive city. You will lead the team in advocating the value of the arts as well as developing strategies and fostering partnerships with corporate, government and social agencies for arts-based initiatives to thrive in the community and enliven our public spaces. Your role will include working on various initiatives such as busking, arts and disability, Lively Places Fund and other partnership initiatives.

[What you will be working on]

  • Contribute to developing and formulating of policies and initiatives for the benefit of Singapore’s Busking scene.
  • Cultivation and account management of public and private sector partners for designated busking locations that would enable a vibrant ecosystem.
  • Manage appointed vendors to ensure smooth operations and good service delivery for NAC Busking Scheme.
  • Drive inclusivity in the arts through partnerships and research studies.
  • Administer NAC’s funding and grant schemes which includes monitoring and review of funded projects and programs to ensure delivery of outcomes.

[What we are looking for]

  • Good University degree.
  • At least 5 years of working experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong analytical and reasoning ability; experience in planning and process development would be an added advantage.
  • Able to build, negotiate and maintain 3P sector (Public, Private and People) relationships effectively.
  • Articulate and confident, write and present well.
  • Good interpersonal skills in engaging different stakeholder groups; motivated to provide sound advice to resolve issues raised by different stakeholders.
  • Able to remain professional and manage demanding and high-pressure situations.
