Description:
BROAD SCOPE
We are looking for an energetic and passionate individual to join Community Foundation of Singapore (CFS) as a Assistant Director, Charities & Grants Team. CFS is the only philanthropic foundation in Singapore that funds charity programmes across all causes. This provides opportunities to create impact across diverse needs in Singapore. Grant making in CFS is evolving towards becoming a catalyst for systemic change with a greater emphasis on sustainability and impact. We are looking for talents who can support CFS to drive the grantmaking strategies and operations and achieve greater efficiency, efficacy and impact.

Responsibilities:
Catalyse Grants
- Develop innovative evidence based grantmaking strategies and practices and re-imagine how donations can create impact for charities
- Oversee the development of grantmaking features for a new donor portal platform. Support the development of a new platform driven way to engage donors and charities and create novel online-offline experiences that enrich the donor’s philanthropic experience
- Generate significantly large value grants in partnership with donors and charity partners that improve impact delivery to the community
Impact Measurement
- Develop and launch CFS Social Impact Framework that captures CFS’ direct and indirect contributions to our charity partners and beneficiaries
Operational Improvements
- Streamline and enhance current grantmaking processes to improve productivity
- Analyse grant making data to improve grant making and charity engagement strategies
- Oversee knowledge and data management for the team with regular generation of reports on grantmaking trends, cause insights, donor demand
