We are seeking to hire an experienced Assistant Director within our Financial Advisory coverage group to generate high quality large cap Consumer sector transactions for the firm, alongside a partner and one other team member.
If you enjoy being a Consumer sector expert, developing views on sector dynamics and M&A scenarios and advising major corporate and private equity clients on strategic options to drive organic and inorganic growth, this is the role for you.
Deal Origination is a new, fast growing platform within Deloitte; joining our team would provide a driven, self-starter individual with the opportunity to be involved in high profile Consumer transactions and make a real impact in shaping the future of our business.
CONNECT TO YOUR SKILLS AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Knowledge of the consumer sector, with preference for one of the following verticals: food & beverage, health & personal care, spirits and specialty retail
- Extensive experience in equity research; currently at junior VP or Senior Associate or equivalent level. Talented junior Principals/VPs at strategic consulting firms or M&A boutiques are also welcome to apply
- Exceptional commercial acumen and market awareness coupled with analytical skills
- Initiative – must be energetic, self-starter with ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Highest standards of personal conduct, professional performance and business ethics
- Interpersonal and coaching skills to lead and develop junior team
- Excellent academic background
