Job Description
Reporting to the Vice President for Global Sales, this position will explore various new and existing leisure/wholesale market opportunities to grow our partnerships to drive sales revenue for the group.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma / Bachelor degree or above, fluent in English
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills, prior experience in contracting and negotiating agreements and conditions with online/travel partners.
  • More than 5 years in hospitality / travel intermediaries contracting experience
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, team spirit and can work under pressure
  • Proven ability to build strong internal and external relationships with individuals and travel partners using open and consultative approach
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office system and sales related software and tools

Responsibilities:

  • Drive leisure sales through key segments allocated by Vice President of Global Sales but not limiting to Wholesalers and Travel Agencies
  • Build relationships with C-level contacts to ensure that Ascott is a preferred choice for leisure programs
  • Lead commercial negotiations for Ascott Group
  • Identify potential new agencies that match the potential source markets example for city and/or resort properties in different destinations.
  • Co-drive with Cluster Sales Team to maximize potential of the leisure segment
  • Monitor the performance of assigned partners
  • Participate in and represent the group at related leisure tradeshows, overseas sales trips and networking events
  • Regular business reviews with clusters and cross functional working groups to ensure alignment of sales strategies and processes
  • Well versed in all sales related systems to have the ability to guide / train clusters
  • Keeping up with industry trends and ensuring relevance in our core segments
  • Pre-opening Guardian for Global Sales function as assigned by Division Head
  • Sales related projects as assigned by Vice President of Global Sales
