DESCRIPTION:

The Assistant Director is an experienced Senior Educator who provides strong leadership support to the Centre Director in the day-to-day operations and successful running of the Centre. The Assistant Director works to support the team in the development and delivery of high-quality education and care, and actively mentors and develops the broader team.

The Assistant Director provides strong leadership support to the Centre Director in the day-to-day operations and successful running of the Centre. The Assistant Director works to support the team in the development and delivery of high-quality education and care, and actively mentors and develops the broader team.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

  • Diploma in Children’s Services or equivalent, or Early Childhood Teaching
  • qualification
  • Current Senior First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates
  • State relevant Working with Children Check, Blue Card, or Safety Screening
  • Current Child Protection Training
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with proven experience juggling a wide range of demands and
  • priorities, and managing time effectively.
