Description:
Wilkes University invites applicants for an Assistant Director of Admissions position in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
The successful candidate will be a key asset to a dedicated and energetic admissions team and campus community. The responsibilities of the Assistant Director will focus on the recruitment and enrollment of students from an assigned geographical territory. The successful candidate will work closely with prospective students and families throughout the admissions process via in-person and virtual visits along with meaningful e-mail, text and phone communications. The Assistant Director will regularly collaborate with fellow colleagues, faculty members, and departments across campus to be the best advocate for prospective students and their families. In addition to these important responsibilities the Assistant Director may also be assigned to other critical initiatives and special projects related to enrollment.
A bachelor’s degree is required and the ideal candidate will have 1-3 years prior experience in higher education admissions, sales or marketing. Previous experience with Technolutions Slate CRM is preferred. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
