Description:

Attention all Nurse Managers! A premier Nursing Home is seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON).
As the ADON, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents. You will work closely with the Director of Nursing to manage and supervise nursing staff, oversee the development and implementation of policies and procedures, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the Director of Nursing with overseeing all aspects of the nursing department, including staffing, training, and development
  • Supervising and mentoring nursing staff to ensure high-quality care and services to residents
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to support the mission and values of the Nursing Home
  • Monitoring and evaluating the quality of care provided to residents, making recommendations for improvement as needed
  • Ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations and guidelines

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A current Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role in the healthcare industry, preferably in a long-term care setting
  • Strong organizational and supervisory skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to providing high-quality care to seniors
