VOS QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diplôme d’études post-secondaires, spécialisation en marketing et/ou publicité ; OU expérience professionnelle équivalente
  • Un stage dans un domaine connexe est un atout
  • Maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Capacité à communiquer de manière concise et claire, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit, en français et en anglais

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post-secondary diploma, specializing in marketing and/or advertising; OR equivalent work experience
  • An internship in a related field is an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to communicate concisely and clearly, both orally and in writing, in French and English

Responsibilities:

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

The Media Planning Assistant plays an essential role in supporting the media planning process, helping to ensure that advertising campaigns are well executed and effectively reach their target audience.

WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE INTERESTING

  • You’ll be exposed to the advertising and media industry from day one. You’ll get an overview of different media channels, advertising formats and campaign strategies. This will help you understand the global landscape and lay a solid foundation for your career development.
  • You’ll have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals in the field. You’ll gain knowledge of media research, audience analysis, media planning and buying, and campaign optimization techniques.
  • You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams such as digital and programmatic buying, paid search, and social media. This will enable you to collaborate with professionals from different disciplines and improve your communication and teamwork skills.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate in market research and target audience analysis to obtain information on consumer behaviour, media consumption habits and market trends
  • Help create media plans that include recommended media channels, budget allocations and breakdown of ad placements
  • Coordinate the execution of media campaigns, performing tasks such as negotiating rates with media partners, purchasing ad placements, and ensuring that all creative elements of the campaign are delivered to partners on time.
  • Participate in the monitoring and management of campaign budgets, ensuring that spending is in line with approved media plans.
  • Contribute to the collection and analysis of campaign data, such as ad impressions, click-through rates, and conversions
  • Contribute to the preparation of performance reports and provide information on campaign effectiveness and optimization opportunities
  • Participate in invoicing processes and contribute to the reconciliation of supplier invoices.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, new media opportunities and emerging technologies
  • Evaluate new media channels, technologies, and advertising platforms to determine their suitability for customer campaigns
