Job Description

The Assistant Finance Manager will work closely with the Financial Controller to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the finance department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Assist the Financial Controller r in preparing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget and forecast.
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
  • Assist with financial audits and payroll related activities.
  • Provide support to other departments regarding financial matters.
  • Supervise and train finance department staff.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in finance or accounting role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
