Description:
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 3 years of relevant work experience in public practice or commercial
- Candidate should have a hands-on mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft applications such as PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
- Prior experience in accounts payable, account receivable or project accounting will be looked upon favorably
- Good business acumen and excellent people skills
- Working towards CA, CPA or ACCA and planning to join one of professional accounting accreditation programs within one to two years
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Responsibilities:
- Assist a financial controller with EOM closing, quarterly forecast and annual budgeting
- Maintain and optimize a balanced set of KPIs reflecting all aspects of the Business Line’s performance, ensuring early identification of issues as well as outcomes
- Liaise with the administrative team on resource allocation, invoicing process and reconciliation, intragroup transaction reconciliation, expense booking to mitigate the risk of profit and loss leakage
- Perform routine cost review and work with AP and admin team to maintain a reasonable turnaround time on supplier (including intragroup) invoices processing, and reduce the chance of out of period expenses
- Support a financial controller in the Account Receivables review, and identify key actions for credit controllers and branches to follow up
- Maintain cash flow projection and seek cost saving opportunities in an on going basis
- Act as an offsider for the financial controller
- Responsible for any ad-hoc tasks assigned by a financial controller
- Assist to prepare Business Review Meeting for Singapore, as well as other related meetings
