What are we looking for in our Assistant Financial Controller?
We are working with a large Irish service industry client who is seeking to hire an Assistant Financial Controller for their Dublin city center office.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Finance office, reporting daily to the Cluster Financial Controller
The role will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to broaden their exposure with a large group and there are excellent progression opportunities.

MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:

Academic Credentials: Part-qualified accountant actively pursuing completion of their qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or similar).
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, essential for effective interactions across multiple departments.
Career Progression: A CV that demonstrates clear professional growth and potential to advance to higher financial roles.
Experience: Proven experience with end-to-end account management, involvement in management accounts, and some financial analysis

Assist in managing the day-to-day finance operations
Ensure a rigorous financial control and reporting environment is in operation
Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Contribute towards process improvement
Manage queries from internal and external parties
Assist with the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
