ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Assistant Fitter, you will assist the maintenance team in greasing and lubricating the machines in the production area and helping the team with machine breakdowns. You will also be responsible for tidying the store room and replenishing the stocks.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

• Store Room Tidy-Up: Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the store room, ensuring tools, parts, and supplies are properly stored and easily accessible.
• Stock Replenishment: Monitor inventory levels and assist in replenishing stocks as needed to support ongoing operations.
• Machine Breakdown Assistance: Work alongside our maintenance team in machine breakdowns to minimise downtime.
• Lubrication and Greasing: Support regular maintenance tasks by lubricating and greasing machines according to maintenance schedules and guidelines.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE YOU NEED:

• Previous work experience in a manufacturing plant environment
• Forklift Licence
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Team player attitude with good communication skills
