DESCRIPTION:

You will be partnering with the Food and Beverage Manager and the Executive Manager of Operations to service a wide variety of events and conferences we hold here at our venue.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will manage the day-to-day floor operations for banquets, exhibitions and tradeshows, entertainment, food & beverage. This role will see you getting involved with team member recruitment and training, performance management, rostering and WHS compliance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS ROLE INCLUDE:

Leading the team in the day to day operation of servicing our events
Service excellence at our banquets, tradeshows, exhibitions and entertainment events
Liaising with the GCCEC Operational Leadership team
Monitoring the quality of food and service to our high standards
Managing any customer grievances
Ensuring RSA standards are adhered to during events
Assisting in managing labour costs
Training, Reporting and Admin as required.
