Description:
The Assistant Front Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the front desk and ensuring that guests receive outstanding customer service. This role involves managing front office staff, handling guest complaints and requests, and ensuring the front office operates smoothly and efficiently.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Completed Tertiary education in Hospitality and/or Tourism Management.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Duty Manager level in a hotel of similar capacity.
- Good language command and customer relations skills.Quick thinker, a proven problem solver.

Responsibilities:
- Guest Services: Welcome and register guests upon arrival and check them out at departure.Address and resolve guest complaints and special requests promptly and professionally.Ensure guests receive a high standard of service and hospitality.
- Staff Management: Supervise, train, and schedule front desk staff, bell staff, and concierge.Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.Assist in hiring and onboarding new front-office employees.
- Operations: Oversee daily front office operations, ensuring procedures and standards are followed.Manage room inventory, ensuring accurate and timely assignments.Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
- Financial Management: Monitor front office expenses and ensure adherence to the budget.Handle billing and cashiering functions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.Assist in the preparation of financial and operational reports.
- Customer Relations: Develop and maintain positive relationships with guests and ensure their needs are met.Respond to guest feedback and reviews, both positive and negative, professionally.Implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction and loyalty.
- Health and Safety: Ensure the front office area complies with health, safety, and security standards.Handle emergencies and incidents calmly and effectively.
- Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate records of guest information, reservations, and transactions.Prepare and manage staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage.Assist the Front Office Manager with administrative tasks as needed.
