REQUIREMENTS (STUDENT CARE TEACHER) :

  • Minimum requirement of a Diploma
  • Prior working experience in a relevant role, preferably at the primary level, is an advantage
  • Demonstrates exceptional work ethics and maintains high integrity
  • Displays a positive attitude when encountering challenges, and is proactive and initiative towards work
  • Passion for working with children and fostering their love for the learning process

Responsibilities:

  • Following our CAPOR Framework, to observe and provide positive, encouraging support for the children
  • Supporting primary school children (Primary 1 to 6) in completing their daily homework, as well as spelling practice and assessment work
  • Managing classroom order (small teacher:student ratio!)
  • Ensure safety and timely transfer of children from their schools to our Centre
  • Regular liaison with parents and/or guardians regarding children’s progress and behaviour
  • Administrative work (such as planning of children’s academic work, class activities, weekly reviews of students, upkeep of Centre premises)
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as delegated by the Centre Manager
