Description:
The Dangote Cement Plc is seeking an Assistant General Manager- Quality Assurance and Quality Control to ensure that all products and processes meet the highest quality standards. The chosen candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement quality control measures, conduct inspections, and develop quality assurance programs.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 18 years of experience in quality assurance and quality control.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems and industry standards.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in a similar role.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Certification in quality management is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to ensure adherence to quality standards
- Perform regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues and ensure continuous improvement
- Monitor and analyze quality metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Develop and maintain quality management systems, including document control and recordkeeping
- Train and educate employees on quality control processes and procedures
- Participate in the development and implementation of quality assurance programs and initiatives
- Conduct supplier evaluations and audits to ensure compliance with quality requirements
- Lead and mentor a team of quality control professionals
