YMCA Gymnastics is recruiting an Assistant Gymnastics Coach on a casual basis to join our team located at Mango Hill, QLD.

As an Assistant Gymnastics Coach, you will be supervised by a qualified gymnastics coach at all times while you build your skills towards coaching classes independently. You will be responsible for spotting athletes as they perform on various apparatus, while observing our athletes prepare for competition; choreographing routines and selecting music for floor exercises.

Duties include (but are not limited to):

• Assisting with set-up of gymnastics equipment and commencement of the class
• Check that all activities have adequate matting which is correctly/safely set out
• Ensure all rolls are marked and accounts, notices and newsletters are given out accordingly
• Ensure that if an accident happens all safety procedures are adhered to and an accident report form filled out
• Complete administration duties, as required.
