  • You are a true host and team player looking for a diverse and inclusive work environment
  • 3+ years of Front and Back Office experience in a hotel or hostel, including a few years in a supervisor role
  • You understand the rules and regulations governing the hospitality industry in Denmark
  • You are familiarity with Danish labor laws, health and safety regulations, and any other legal requirements specific to operating a hotel in Denmark
  • Profound knowledge of financial controlling within the department
  • You lead by example, enjoy working shifts alongside your team, training and motivating them
  • You bring a sharp eye for detail, spot opportunities for improvement and follow them through
  • You are solution-driven, show strong commitment and entrepreneurial way of thinking
  • You think it is fun working in a diverse, multi-cultural environment and bring people on board to achieve things together
  • You possess excellent communication skills in English, Danish is preferred and any other language is an advantage

Responsibilities:

  • You’re a great host ensuring your guests enjoy a safe and memorable stay
  • Working closely with the Hotel Manager, you’re responsible for the smooth running of all Front and Back office duties
  • You see to consistent follow up of in- and external standards and processes
  • You train, coach and mentor your team with an individual approach, aiming for everyone to perform to their full potential
  • You see to timely publication of an efficient rota
  • You are responsible for all monetary (cash and bank) transactions and see to immaculate financial control
  • In charge of daily stock- and cost control as well as monthly reporting
  • You’re flexible and understand working on all days of the week, sometimes early / sometimes late, during weekends and on public holidays comes with the job (min. 1 late shift per week)
  • Finally; you’re a great colleague, not afraid to jump in to support other departments every now and then
  • You spend at least 50% on the floor with the team and cover shifts where necessary but also 50 % doing office work
  • Using our modern monitoring tools, you monitor and develop measures to optimise guest- and staff satisfaction
